Transparency, Accountability and Trust

Transparency means more than access, it means usable access. I support providing clear, plain-language resources that explain what the law is, how decisions are made and where records can be found, without unnecessary barriers or complex processes.

Elected officials are entrusted to serve the public and that includes taking responsibility for decisions made in office. Accountability means answering questions honestly, documenting actions clearly, and being responsive to the citizens we serve.

Public offices must operate within Utah law, applicable state regulations, and local ordinances. Consistent, lawful procedures protect voters, election officials, and the integrity of our election system and constitutional process

Public trust grows when records are accessible and systems are independently reviewed. I support better access to public records and the use of regular third-party audits to strengthen confidence, improve processes, and ensure accountability.
